Hi. I’m Sue and welcome to Boue!

I started my potter’s journey about 15 years ago, taking classes at my local Arts Center. I was hooked from the moment my hands touched the clay. And now with Boue, I hope to share that love and passion with you. Whether you chose to try handbuilding or a one-on-one class at the wheel, my hope is that you’ll get the pottery bug, too!

The classes at Boue are super relaxed. I’ll demonstrate a technique and then you’ll dive right in. I’ll be there to answer any questions. If there’s something specific you’re keen to make, I’ll guide you through it.

You’ll get a chunk of clay, the use of all the tools, underglazes and at the end of the workshop, I’ll glaze and fire your piece or pieces, ready for you to pick up at a later date.

You can see some of my work below. Or better still, drop by the studio and browse the pieces on sale. I’d love to meet you!
